Birthday Boys

Weird. It was about this time last year Geoff Thompson had a birthday. And here we are again, about a year later recording the podcast.

He is not alone in celebrating which is why the Must Listen Podcast is called Birthday Boys. He shares his day with a special celeb ;)

We talk about Geoff’s Facebook Group, the questions posed and best birthday wishes extolled, then there’s the power of influence of society and media on your mood and behaviour plus talk of Brazilian G-strings. Apparently it’s no small issue. Plus we talk about The Barking Dog, an article written by Mr. T himself.

No where else would you get such a diverse mix of subjects stirred into a pot and made into Serious Info-Tainment.

Revolving Evolution

The podcast was scheduled to record at the very end of 2011. Its content caused much debate between Richard Barnes and Geoff Thompson. So much so Geooff decided to let Christmas pass and contemplate its content once more.

The Revolving Evolution of article makes this Must Listen podcast. The article Inspired originally by the acts of Tunisian fruit seller Mohamed Bouazizi showed that “You, You, You”, can change the world.

Into the mix for the first podcast of the year are New Years Resolutions, St. Francis of Assisi as never heard before and some new year Q&A. prompted by questions posted on Geoff Thompson’s Facebook group.художник на икониИкони на светци

Mega Questions

A day before Geoff and I had scheduled to record the podcast I asked on Geoff Thompson’s Facebook Group for questions. The response was massive and the counsel requested covers Geoff’s breadth of knowledge and experience.

From standing on the door, dealing with violent altercation, martial arts, and how to identify what the ‘it’ is that shapes a life’s direction, Geoff offers an explaination from his point of view.

Thanks to those that posted questions and if not directly we covered most of the issues raised. It took a while which is why this weeks Must Listen podcast is called Mega Questions. It forms the first part of the Must Listen Podcast : Mega Questions. (85 minutes)

Go Get Wood

What a title for a podcast. It’s my childish sense of humour that linked Geoff’s article about a acorn, an oak and lessons given from how an acorn grows into a majestic tree that influenced the title of this Must Listen Podcast.

There’s much discussion before the article, contradictions addressed, talk about NLP and a bit of real science to boot.

Plus Mrs Abernethy makes a comeback to wish one of the world’s best Karate guys happy birthday. After all, it’s cheaper than a card.

Expensive Furry Pants

It’s a real eye catcher of a title for a Must Listen Podcast. Although these £13,400 of frillies do get talked about they are only a bit part in this Must Listen Podcast.

Richard Barnes admits to a confrontation that nearly turned to violence, there’s some great questions about self defence and dealing with situations and affirmation of the fact that self defence truly does start with the self.

I’m happy to report there are some awful jokes along with though provoking audio to be consumed. Remember it comes with a 100% Serious Info-Tainment Guarantee. So its time to reach for those Expensive Furry Pants.
